Restaurant 'Sokol' can be easily found upon entering through the arch of the old city walls of the ancient Croatian town of Nin.

Every guest is sure to find something on our menu to please, even for the most particular of palates. This is because we prepare our dishes with only the finest and freshest of ingredients from old-world recipes that have been used for centuries. We are happy to oblige new requests, and would welcome the chance to impress you with our culinary creativity.
Our head chef prides himself on combining his formal culinary training with his own intimate knowledge of local Dalmatian cuisine, as he is a native to this area of Croatia. His passion is the sea, and often he can be found fishing in the early morning hours in our local waters- the freshest catches of which we are proud to serve at our restaurant.
Our chef's favorite dish is 'Steak Tartaro', made with a pepper sauce and a salad of local-grown organic tomatoes and homemade bread.
Other favorite and artisan options we have on our menu are the homemade gnocchi with mussels or anchovies, homemade pasta which is fresh-made daily, the fish fillet with shrimp sauce, or the 'Tartaro Special' with grilled organic vegetables.
If you would like to try more traditional Croatian fare, our cevapcici are outstanding, our grilled mixed meat platters make mouths water, and the variety of pizza options, including that with toppings of arugula, shrimp, or house-made šokol (the traditional cured meat which is indigenous to our region of Dalmatia) will surely please.
